Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydney

On September 12th, the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with the NSW Government, proudly co-hosted the 2024 Korea-NSW Business Forum. The event brought together key representatives from Korean businesses operating in Australia, alongside officials from various NSW Government organisations.

During the forum, Consul-General Yong Jun Choi highlighted the shared economic strengths of Korea and Australia, while exploring potential avenues for future cooperation. The Honourable Anoulack Chanthivong MP, NSW Minister for Industry and Trade, emphasised the exciting opportunities for Korean companies to contribute to NSW’s vision of becoming a global leader in renewable energy.

The event also featured insightful presentations on current economic trends and opportunities, delivered by experts including Ellena Cho (KOTRA), Stephen Walters (Business Council of Australia), Andrew Bedrossian (NSW DCCEEW), and Scott Richardson (Investment NSW).
